On 25 September 2026, Loyola School, Bistupur, had the privilege of hosting Mr. Tuhin Sinha, distinguished Loyola alumnus, author and National Spokesperson of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), for an engaging and thought-provoking session on Artificial Intelligence and its impact on the younger generation. The programme began with a warm welcome to Mr. Sinha, followed by his formal introduction by Mr. Rajiv Talwar, an accomplished Loyola alumnus, Director of the Talbros Group, Senior Vice President of the Loyola Alumni Association, and National Secretary of the Jesuit Alumni Association of India. Mr. Tuhin Sinha was then warmly felicitated as a gesture of appreciation and gratitude on behalf of the Loyola family. In his insightful session, Mr. Tuhin Sinha spoke about the usefulness of Artificial Intelligence and the opportunities it offers to the younger generation, while also drawing attention to the challenges they may face while using it. He encouraged students to understand this rapidly evolving technology and approach it with awareness, responsibility and discernment. The session concluded with an interactive segment, during which Mr. Sinha thoughtfully addressed the queries raised by the students, making the discussion even more engaging and enriching. The programme concluded with, our Principal Fr. Vinod Fernandes addressing the students, appreciating Mr. Sinha’s efforts and encouraging the students to embrace technological advancements with wisdom, responsibility and a clear sense of purpose. An enriching dialogue that encouraged young minds to look beyond technology and think deeply about the future they are preparing to shape. It was indeed a memorable and enriching learning experience for the Loyola community
