Wheels of the Ranchi-Delhi Rajdhani Express came to a standstill for a while when a lady passenger tweeted about her inconvenience at railway’s official tweeter handle. The train halted at Daltonganj railway station under Dhanbad division on Thursday night for five extra minutes.
The lady along with her daughter was travelling in A- 4 coach of train when she sent a tweet about her inconvenience and discomfiture from a fellow passenger during her journey from Ranchi onwards. The tweet on official handle of Railway Ministry got immediately taken care of and officials at Daltonganj railway station were alerted soon after. GRP and RPF personnel rushed to attend aggrieved passenger. Railway Traffic Inspector AK Sinha confirmed train was held up more than its normal stoppage time of two minutes at station and said, “Berth number 38 lady passenger tweeted about her inconvenience by fellow passenger and immediately RPF and GRP reached this coach A 4 on its arrival on Thursday at 10.10 pm. Later, the passenger told RPF, GRP and railway official of having no problem now.”
He added that the trains was allowed to leave when they got “no problem note” in writing from the lady. He also said that the the passenger admitted to them about her tweet conveying her discomfiture. “By the time, RPF and the GRP reached her in her coach, she and her daughter were cool and calm and not frightened at all,” said Sinha.
