Blood donation is akin to giving life; an apt way of repaying to nature the debt of one's own life. Giving a clarion call for ‘Donate Blood, Save a Life’, a short film ‘Rakt’ (Blood) would be screened in Film Festival at Hyderabad.The film festival is scheduled to be held in September this year, said Raj Kamal Mahato the director of the film.
Under the banner of ‘Kapasa Films’ shooting of ‘Rakta’ will kick off at Bokaro on 30 July, he said.With the participation of local actors this film will help in creating awareness among the mass to donate blood happily and fearlessly. Lauding the voluntary donors, this film would urge them to continue this resolve as a service to humanity and also inspire others to donate, sail Basudeo Mahato the story writer of the film.
Our motto is to eliminate the myths of blood donation such as weakness, fear of needles and infection.The blood donation does absolutely no harm to the donors, it proves critical and life saving for the recipients, said Sujit Cameraman.With an objective to save lives with safe transfusion of blood during the scarcity of blood this film will able to motive mass, he said.
