Netarhat boys top matric exam again |
|
Ranchi : Despite its many constraints it lacks in quality teachers, grade IV employees and other infrastructure - the Netarhat School nevertheless has a reason for cheer. The school, for the fourth consecutive year, bagged all top ten positions in the matriculation exam conducted by the Jharkhand Academic Council, the results of which were declared on Saturday.
Sample this: 15 of its students find a place in the top 10. All its 96 students, who appeared for the examination, secured 1st Division marks (60 percent and above). And 26 of them have scored over 90 percent marks.
A buoyed Binod Kumar Karn, the school's principal, found it hard to sound matter of fact. "Forget the shortcomings, the school is still far better than any other school. I am really proud that for the fourth time in a row, my students have bagged all the top 10 positions. The overall results are improving with each passing year," he gushed. |
