DOWNLOAD HINDI FONTS

To read news from Ranchi Express Online in Hindi, you have to install our Hindi Font on your system only once (Unless you remove this font from your system). This font is available as a free download for viewing Ranchi Express Online Hindi Edition only. However visitor's using IE 5.0 are unable to view the Hindi page correctly. Also these fonts are for Windows only. As of now we don't have our fonts ready for Unix / Mac System.

• Click here to download ranchiexp.zip (36KB) to your computer. When prompted by your browser, choose save this file to your computer.

• Unzip this file in a particular directory. This will create a file ranchiexp.ttf in that directory. If you don't have pkunzip or winzip software, you can download the same from winzip site.

• Open Control Panel. Double Click the Fonts Icon. Select File->Install New Font and select the directory where you have unzipped the ranchiexp.zip file. Alternatively you can copy ranchiexp.ttf to c:\windows\fonts. This will add Express font to your system fonts.

• Restart your Browser (You don't need to restart your computer).

• Now you can read news from Ranchi Express Online in Hindi any time. In some cases Hindi characters might not appear correctly or may appear mixed with some ghost characters. If this happens to be the case follow the steps given below :-

• Netscape Navigator User :-
  
  1. Choose View from the menu bar of your browser.
  2. Choose Character Set if you are using Ver 4.5 or Encoding if any earlier version.
  3. Select User Defined from the list displayed.

• Netscape Navigator User :-
  
  1. Choose View from the menu bar of your browser.
  2. Choose Character Set if you are using Ver 4.5 or Encoding if any earlier version.
  3. Select User Defined from the list displayed.

• Internet Explorer User :-
  
  1. Choose View from the Menu bar of your browser.
  2. Choose font if you are using IE 4.0 or less, otherwise choose Encoding.
  3. Select User Defined from the list displayed.
