State Government on Wednesday signed an MoU with Indian Trust for Rural Heritage and Development for conservation, promotion and renovation of ancient Terracotta temples of Maluti.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Chief Secretary, Rajiv Gauba; Padam Bhushan, SK Mishra; Principal Secretary Finance, Amit Khare; Secretary, Arts, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs, Avinash Kumar and State representative of ITRHD, SD Singh.
On the occasion Gauba said, ITRHD would undertake renovation and conservation work by scientific techniques was footing. Gauba added a tourist facilitation centre would also be established at Maluti.
As part of the MoU, Department of Arts, Culture, Sport and Youth Affairs; Tourism; DWSD and ITRHD will cooperate to implement various aspects of the agreement. Notably, ITRHD will also work for obtaining grants from government, semi-government, Indian and foreign institutions.
