As the mercury level dips, there is a sudden change in temperature, the denizens in the state capital may also experience cold waves in the coming next two days, apart cloudy sky and fall in temperature. The MET department has also issued cold wave warning for the residents. The sudden change in weather is the result of Westerly wind along with the Western Disturbances (WD) and upper air circulation in Southern Madhya Pradesh.
Citing details about the present weather condition, Forecast Officer of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) Ranchi, Upendra Srivastava, informed, “There is a sudden fall in temperature which will lead to cold waves at isolated places in Jharkhand in the coming two days. The weather condition will slightly improve bringing change in temperature only after January 28 and finally temperature will get back to its normal condition.”
