Governor Draupadi Murmu and Chief Minister Raghubar Das jointly laid the foundation stone for the four-storeyed new Jharkhand Bhawan in New Delhi on Monday. Das, while addressing a gathering on the occasion, said that the construction of the new building will be completed within two years.
“Construction work of the building will get started from April and will end within two years,” said Das. “It is really a proud moment to lay the foundation stone for the second building of Jharkhand Bhawan at the heart of the national capital,” added the Chief Minister.
According to Das, Government offices and buildings play an important role in the development of a State. The new building, equipped with all ultra-modern facilities, will be constructed on one acre land at Bangla Sahib Lane near Gol Market.
