To celebrate the beginning of sixteenth year of Jharkhand’s formation, State Government will be announcing several ambitious public welfare initiatives, inaugurate much-awaited public infrastructures and honour a varied collection of doctors, technocrats, revolutionaries and more.
“The State Foundation Day will be observed for three days, beginning from November 13 and continuing till November 15, with several inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies have been planned for the first two days. The main programme will be held in Birsa Munda Football Stadium in two parts,” said Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Manoj Kumar.
He continued, “The first half of the main programme, from 3:50 pm to 5:00 pm, will be official, the selected individuals will be honoured or gifted assets, along with inaugurating several projects. Following this will be cultural performances which will continue till 7:00 pm.”
The projects to be inaugurated on this day include CM Jan Van Yojna, telemedicine project for sickle cell anaemia, new policy regarding kendu leaves, Anti-Corruption Bureau and air-conditioned deluxe bus service. Joining letters will also be handed to ten medical professionals and newly-appointed teachers for rural schools.
Sewerage-drainage system will be kicked off on the first day along with inauguration of Birsa Munda bus terminal at Khadgarha and State Nutrition Mission.
