The Federation of Jharkhand Chamber of Commerce and Industries will go to voting to elect its new executive body on Sunday at Marwari Bhawan. The annual election for the executive body elects 21 members through direct and indirect representation of businessmen and various associations attached to the apex association of the businessman of Jharkhand.
Voting for the executive committee will start from 9 am and will conclude at 4 pm whereas counting of votes will take place on September 21 at Chamber Bhawan.
The two teams in the fray lead by incumbent Secretary General, Pawan Kumar Sharma and young businessman, Manish Sarraf campaigned till late evening on Saturday as both the camps claimed majority in the 21-member executive committee of the FJCCI.
Notably, around 2,637 voters including 2,229 life members, 320 general members, 75 members of affiliated organisations besides 11 corporate members would take part in the polling.
