The first-ever Arogya Fair in Jharkhand began with much zeal and enthusiasm on Friday. The fair was inaugurated by Shripad Yesso Naik, Minister of State (independent charge) Ministry of Ayush along with other dignitaries. Arogya fair offers diverse traditional forms of medicines, remedies and promotes all indigenous methods of healing.
The National Level Comprehensive Health Fair on Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha, Sowa-Rigpa, Homoeopathy (AYUSH) is organised at Vidhan Sabha Ground. The four-day-long fair aims to proliferate and showcase the strength and potential of Indian systems of medicines and methods of treatments. It also includes yoga demonstration and exhibitions, with as many as 100 stalls displaying assorted medicines on several disorders.
