Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Sunday inaugurated infrastructure projects worth Rs7.77 crore at the State-owned MGM Medical College in Dimna. The projects — a state-of-the-art centralised AC auditorium and a four-storeyed (G+3) library building — were constructed as per the specifications of the Medical Council of India.
Addressing the function, the Chief Minister appreciated the initiative taken by the management to boost infrastructure facility. He promised that an e-library and wi-fi facilities will be introduced at the government medical college soon. He also appealed the MBBS students to take keen interest in medical research. “Our government's focus has been to ensure quality-based higher education. With changing times things students must adopt hi-tech education. We would ensure that the college soon gets an e-library and is equipped with wi-fi facility,” said Das addressing an august gathering.
