CM Raghubar Das stressed on ‘Apna Gaon, Apna Kaam’ during a meeting at Project Building on Monday. He directed the Agriculture and Sugarcane department officials to consult the farmers for suggestions on conserving rain water.
He told the officers to renovate the existing ponds. He said those ponds wherein distillation is required should be focused on priority basis before the monsoon season begins.
He directed the departmental officials to highlight on the districts which are devoid of industries. Villagers must be involved in setting up dams within a village, he said.
Also, he instructed the officials to lay special focus on places dealing with water crunch. Moreover, he told to concentrate specially on Palamau, Santhal-Pargana and Garhwa. Besides, water conservation, he advised the officers to focus on food production techniques with the state.
