Ranchi :- Jharkhand government is taking a significant step in the direction of women empowerment and their financial inclusion, the Government has decided to waive stamp duty on the property bought in the name of female members.
Chief Minister Raghuwar Das while reviewing the Revenue and Land Reform Department on Wednesday said that only Rs. 1 would be required as token stamp for this purpose. "The CM said this keeping in mind the importance of women in family. This would surely grow their stature and empower them," said Revenue and Land Reform Secretary KK Soan after the review meeting.
