The 24th National Child Science Congress and district children rights programme was organised at MLA College in the venture of Science for Society.
On the occasion the president of Science for Society Dr Ganesh Prasad said, “On preparing projects and its representation the honor for Science is inculcated among the children.” District secretary Rahul Kumar said, “The children are guided by their teachers and their labor can be seen through the programme. The programme must be encouraged with positive attitude.”
In rural area senior group first prize was won by Anima Kumari from Project Girls’ high school Kuru, second prize went to Govind Kumar Singh from govt high school Bamandiha Chatti and in senior group the first prize was won by Sandeep Oraon from govt middle school Chitri Senha and the second prize was won b y Richa Kumari from Project girls high school Kuru.
In Urban area senior group the first prize went to govt high school Lohardaga and Kunal Kumar from Nadia plus two schools won the second prize. In junior group Luxmi Kumari won the first prize govt middle school Lohardaga and second rank was got by Puja Kumari from Witpi Bhandra.
The jury included Prof Shashi Gupta, Prof VK Baraik and Prof Sneh Kumar.
